Our Story
Born from a
refusal to accept
the ordinary.
Delusion was founded in 2019 by a collective of photographers who grew tired of safe, sanitised imagery. The studio set out to build a body of work that confronts rather than comforts — images that earn their place on the page.
We work across editorial portraiture, commercial campaigns, and documentary projects — all united by a single obsession: the pursuit of the image that shouldn't exist, but does.
Our clients understand that the best photographs are never the ones everyone agrees on. They come to us because they want something real — not something safe.
We were never interested in flattery. The camera is a tool for excavation — dig deep enough and you find something real.

The Brief
Every project starts with a conversation. We want to understand not just what you want photographed, but why — the story behind it, the feeling you're after, and what success looks like to you.

Concept & Pre-Production
Before a camera comes out we do the work. Mood boards, location scouting, talent sourcing, prop and wardrobe direction. The shoot is won or lost in pre-production.

We move fast and we move with intention. On set, we create the conditions for something real to happen — and we recognise it when it does. The unexpected is always welcome.
